A labor of love

Carving Out a Future

The muse has many faces. She beckons with a call and sends scattered concepts that the artist tries to reassemble into meaningful content.

I’ve been working with wood for the better of 20 years, but never in a capacity greater than for personal use.

Many projects started as ‘needs’ or ‘wants’ from my wife, who always seems to have a different idea than I do for design or purpose of any article I build. That being said, there is a therapeutic side to creating utilitarian objects, and in specific, carving wood for embellishment.
