Character design for animation can be the most fun part of the process. However, just drawing a funny character is not as easy as it may seem.
Creating a character that can be used in a certain animation style requires the ability to adapt the drawings to work within its environment. Often times parts of the environment can actually be characters too. Additionally, a character also needs to match the styles of other characters within the project.
